PATNA (XAIM) : In a strong response to the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced that no Pakistani citizen will be allowed to remain in Bihar after their visas are revoked. The statement comes as the Indian government intensifies measures against Pakistan following the brutal killing of 26 Hindu tourists in Pahalgam.

In a social media post, Chaudhary declared that the Indian government has made it clear that all Pakistani citizens must leave the country. “Bihar is actively identifying Pakistani nationals residing in the state, and they will be sent back to Pakistan,” he said, emphasizing the state’s commitment to supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s resolve to eradicate terrorism.
Chaudhary underscored that Bihar stands firmly with PM Modi, who, from the state’s soil, vowed to crush those behind terrorist acts. “Once visas are canceled, not a single Pakistani will remain in Bihar. Strict action will follow soon,” he asserted, adding that the state will fully implement the central government’s directive.

Addressing the media, the Deputy CM revealed that Pakistani citizens have been given a 48-hour deadline to leave India, which expires on April 27. “We have identified Pakistani nationals in Bihar. If necessary, they will be deported,” he said, stressing that no one can stay after visa cancellation. Those who fail to comply will face legal consequences, he warned.
Chaudhary described the Pahalgam attack as an assault on the nation, calling for unity in this time of grief and outrage. “This is not a moment for politics but for standing together,” he urged.
He also commented on Pakistan’s decision to annul the Shimla Agreement, which followed the last Indo-Pak war. “With the Line of Actual Control no longer in place, India will now cross borders to deliver justice if Pakistan continues its involvement in such attacks,” he said, signaling a tougher stance against cross-border terrorism.
The Deputy CM’s remarks reflect Bihar’s unwavering support for the central government’s anti-terrorism measures and its determination to ensure compliance with the visa cancellation order.
